Young Democrats::Blog is a blog written by the founder of the Young Democrats group, set up in Fall 2006 as a non-profit organization. The Young Democrats meets every month an hour before the Sully District Democrat meeting begins (6:30p). It is geared towards younger political enthusiasts between the ages of 13-18, who have not yet participated in the political process, but wish to help elect Democrats at both a local and federal state. During meetings, we will also actively discuss & debate political and current event topics.
To join, you must contact me (you can also sign our membership form). It should be noted that we do accept anybody to our meetings; they cannot join or participate in our volunteering/YSDC-member only related-projects, though. They’re some exceptions to those between the ages of 10 and 13 who really enjoy the political process. Otherwise, 18+ hopefuls should join the SDDC.
On the blog, expect commentary on political issues and news about the Young Democrats. Also, visit the Sully Democrats website for more information there. We will continue to update this website as much as possible. Thanks for visiting!
